In Atlantic City 8 deck blackjack the cards are dealt out of a shoe face up onto the table. The players are not allowed to touch the cards. With a single deck game the dealer holds the cards and deals them face down to the player.

The Rules
The Rules of Atlantic City Blackjack are similar to that of the original blackjack game. There are a few differences. The first thing you should notice is that Atlantic City Blackjack is played with 8 regular decks of playing cards, and is an American hole card game. This means that unlike European blackjack where the dealer only has one card at the beginning of the game, it means he cannot check for Blackjack. This means that if you doubled and the dealer has blackjack you lose.

In Atlantic City Blackjack the dealer has two cards. One face up the other face down. This means that if the face up card has a value of 10 or an ace, the dealer will check to see if he has blackjack. If yes, then the hand is over. This means that you have a lesser chance of losing a large amount of money.

Tips for winning at Atlantic City Blackjack

• There are a number of ways to win when playing Atlantic City Blackjack:
• If the first card dealt to the dealer is a 10 or an Ace then the dealer is allowed to check for Blackjack as long as the player has had a chance to buy insurance.
• Insurance can be taken only if the first card of the dealer is an Ace. The player does not have to take insurance, but if he does and the dealer has Blackjack, then the insurance bet is paid out at odds of 2:1. If the dealer does not have Blackjack and insurance was taken, then the cost of the insurance is deducted from the player's credits and the game continues.
• If the dealer has Blackjack then the game is automatically over and the next game begins.
• If there is no Ace or 10 to start with then the game commences with "Hits".
• The player needs to get as close as possible to 21 without busting.
• The player asks for cards until he is satisfied with his hand and then he calls "stand". The dealer will then deal his own cards until he reaches at least 17. This is known as a "soft 17".
• Sometimes the player busts, in which case the game is over and the player has lost his bet.
•  Sometimes the player and the dealer end up with the same number of points which is known as "push", in which case the player does not lose anything but he also does not win anything.
• Sometimes the dealer "busts," in which case the player wins 3:2.
• Aces can be used either as 1 or 11.
• All face cards have a value of 10.
• The player is not allowed to draw more than 11 cards. If the player has 11 cards and still has not reached 21 then he automatically has to "stand" and the dealer has his turn.
• If the player thinks that he will win a hand after he has received his first two cards then he has the opportunity to place a ‘double down’ bet. This is a bet in which the player is dealt only one more card and then stands.
• A player also has the opportunity to win more money if he decides to split his hand. This can be done if the initial hand has two of the same cards or value. Each time a split is made the value of the initial bet placed is taken, it is like placing the bet again.

What is Atlantic City Blackjack Strategy Card?
The Atlantic City Blackjack Strategy Card has been created to give players a more reliable way of winning money. If you study the card well and play according to the strategy you will have a greater chance of winning. However, it is not a guarantee that you will win every hand. The card has been calculated using mathematics and so it is all about the "odds" of hitting cards. But that does not mean it does not work. In the long run it will pay handsomely.
